Workers are provided with general awareness about recognizing and preventing hazards commonly found in the workplace. OSHA recommends this training as an orientation to occupational safety and health. Workers can receive additional training on hazards specific to their job. This course provides basic awareness training on the recognition, avoidance, abatement and prevention of workplace hazards.
Supervisors and those desiring a more extensive training safety and health will learn a variety of training. This course provides a greater depth and variety of training on an expanded list of topics associated with workplace hazards. Workers can receive additional training on hazards specific to their job. 30 hours of mandatory and optional topics will be covered.
The National Safety Education Center is authorized to deliver OSHA Outreach Training Program Courses which allow students who complete the program to become Outreach Trainers for the 10-Hour and 30-Hour card in their respective industry.
